Tafara is the RVP of Data Science at F5 Networks. He is a Fellow of the Actuarial Society of South Africa (FASSA), a Chartered Enterprise Risk Actuary (CERA), and holds several finance and risk management qualifications. Tafara also holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate Business School as well as an MSc in Computer Science. This makes him a cybersecurity and risk management expert who specializes in the application of data science and Artificial Intelligence to these areas. He is also an angel investor, business mentor and advisor for startups across Africa and the United States. Tafara is passionate about the environment, education and economic empowerment.
