Ochi Boaz M.

Member of the Board

Boaz has extensive experience in program design and implementation. At Usawa Agenda, he oversees the planning and execution of the Foundational Literacy and Numeracy Assessments (FLANA). Previously, he served as Lead Project Officer at Verge Consultants, where he led the Early Grade Mathematics Assessment in Kenya. Boaz also worked as an Assistant Program Officer at Twaweza East Africa and as a Field Monitoring Officer at UNOPS-Kenya. Additionally, he contributed to policy development on devolution in Kenya as a Research Assistant with UNDP-Kenya, seconded to the Task Force on Devolved Government (TFDG).

Boaz holds a B.Ed. in Science and a B.A. in Public Policy and Administration from Kenyatta University, along with a Certification in Monitoring and Evaluation from the Kenya Institute of Management. He is currently pursuing an MA in International Relations, specializing in International Development, at the United States International University of Africa. His passion lies in social and scientific research, with a focus on improving educational outcomes through data-driven solutions.
