With over 20 years of experience as an edupreneur, Mildred has been a driving force in shaping Kenya’s education sector. As the founder of Matters Childhood & Play Agenda, Mildred is passionate about creating systems that nurture early childhood development and innovative learning environments. Her expertise is strengthened by deep networks across leading education organizations and governing bodies in Kenya.


In addition to her leadership roles, Mildred is an accomplished author of children’s stories and has developed widely-used training manuals for social enterprises, empowering daycare workers in informal settlements to deliver quality care and education. Her work has earned her recognition as one of the Aga Khan’s Role Models of the 21st Century, a testament to her impact on education and community development.


As the Kenya Collaborations Coordinator, Mildred continues to leverage her experience to foster meaningful partnerships and initiatives to advance Good Natured Learning's work to support education and child development in Kenya.
