Khadija Fuad

Member of the Board

Khadija is a passionate educator with 15 years of teaching experience, over a decade of which has been focused on the  International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme curriculum. Her teaching in diverse cultural settings abroad has enriched her approach and strengthened her commitment to student-centered learning. Currently, she serves as Deputy Principal at Aga Khan Academy, Nairobi – Junior Section. Khadija is also a dedicated volunteer who supports teachers and learners in Kenya’s informal settlements. 


As a fellow in the Good Natured Learning program, she has gained valuable insights and resources that have empowered her to create more dynamic and nature-based learning experiences for the students. Being a Good Natured Learning Fellow has profoundly enriched her teaching practice and positively impacted the students by fostering a deeper connection to nature and enhancing their engagement through experiential learning opportunities.

Outside of work, Khadija enjoys traveling, exploring new cultures, and discovering restaurants around Nairobi. She is also an avid reader, drawn to books that foster personal and professional growth.
